I try to utilize many different styles of teaching methods as everybody learns information differently. I believe that one will learn more quickly if they are able to do the task themselves rather then watch the task be done. I also believe that we all learn through our own mistakes much faster then trying to learn from anothers mistake. When I began my college education I declared pre-med as my course of study. Unfortunately, since I had to work to put myself through school, I became burned out my the countless hours of work. When I was no longer having fun in school, I decided to switch majors and declared History. History can be very interesting coursework and also allowed flexibility in further education if I decided to persure more higher education.

I am currently a mathematics instructor (Beginning, Intermediate, and College Algebra) at North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS). In this role, I hold office hours where I can instruct students on an individual level. I am also a math tutor at NDSCS so in addition to my office hours, I also have tutoring hours.
