Earth Science is one of my top subjects! Bachelors Degree in Geology graduated Magna Cum Laude and for 2 semesters was a teaching assistant for an Earth Science class in which I taught a students with different backgrounds and skill levels in general Earth Science. In my experiences, I have found the best way to fascilitate the learning of mathematics is through visual instruction via a whiteboard and/or blackboard. After the student sees an example of a problem done, I like to sit down with the tutee and have them walk me through the problems to make sure they have a good understanding of both the way to do the problem as well as a stron conceptual understanding of the material.
