A Little Bit About Me...

Education is my passion, for both myself and others. I strive to ensure each individual understands what it is they are trying to achieve; by encouraging the use of endless questions, imagining possible solutions, and ultimately rendering a decision that is clear and concise.
During the past four years, I have obtained a BS in Accounting with a Concentration in Fraud Examination and a Minor in Business Management. I have been employed full-time as the Business Manager of a private, not-for-profit Christian school, and as the Business Director of a student newspaper, The Voice. I have worked continuously in the educational setting with students, staff, and clients. With the vast array of individualized learning abilities, styles, and patterns I have come to be very successful in enabling others to understand such areas such as math, finance, and accounting.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a Business Administration major, I have had extensive schooling in all realms of business, accounting, and finance. In my earlier years, I had extensive exposure to math of all levels, as well. Additionally, I am very strong in English, even having edited a book and written the foreword for it. During my early college years I was employed in the Tutoring Lab and volunteered at the YMCA; more recently I have tutored individuals on an as-needed basis.
I believe that everyone is teachable, if the student has the desire and the teacher has the commitment. I tend to be a patient teacher, with high standards. I love to work with children of all ages. It is the most rewarding job, watching the children grow and learn. I love being part of the learning process and the way children get so excited when they learn a new skill or master one they have been trying hard to achieve. I believe that all children learn differently and as a teacher it is important to find what works best for the individual child.
