I know shotcuts in math that really help students to safe time and understand the material. I created my own theory of explaning things that is not writtern in any math book. It is easy to understand for students. The most important thing is to explain math through pictures not formulas. The formulas will be understand automatically after the student understands the picture and concept. I am very patient and ready to explain as long as it takes. At the end of the section I give homework. Then we discuss homework on the next meeting.

A Little Bit About Me...

My name is Eduard Frelikh. I'm math and physics teacher. I do private tutoring for 11 last years. Last 2 years I do it mostly in SpringLight teaching Center (Cupertino). I do classes for conceptual physics, AP physics I, physics C, SAT, physics BOWL, USAPho F=ma contest. Recently 8 of my students were winners in USAPho: 4 silver, 1 bronze medals and 3 honorable mention. (reference table included). Totally I prepared 9 students for this competition this year. Currently just graduated with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University Long Beach. I have tutored several different courses throughout my career. Including Thermodynamics, Numerical Methods for Engineers, Mechanics of Materials, Calculus, Differential Equations and more. I had a high GPA in college and was a very hard worker. Usually the way I tutor is the student brings me homework problems or questions about a topic and I walk them through how to solve them.
I like to use a white board when I tutor, it makes it easier to solve many different problems without having to use paper. I also prefer that students bring questions and homework problems to tutor sessions that way I have a better understanding of what they need to learn.
