My comments on tutoring Drama : 8 yrs in drama from dramatic to musicals, onstage to stagecraft

I would describe my teaching style as dynamic, creative student-centered
I've either taught or tutored in some form or fashion for over 17yrs now. I've had ages 3yrs to 22yrs old covering all manner of subjects and hobbies. One of my most rewarding experience was with an 18 year old special needs 10th grader ready to drop out of school. We met 2-3x a week for 6mths. In that time he raised his GPA from 1.2 to 2.7. He completed his 10th grade year and went on to take and pass the G.E.D. the following year.

From a young age, I have enjoyed teaching, working with young people, and the challenge of making a tough problem seem easy. I have a BA in Literature and am a semester away from completing my M.Ed. in Secondary Education. Additionally, I am a trained teaching consultant for the National Writing Project.
