Don't risk your grade/money on mere paper qualifications

You will see many ads by former or current professors trying to make a buck on the side. They are terrible tutors - they spent their whole careers having students beg them for a better grade. I have spent my whole life learning how to explain the most complex concepts to absolutely anybody. You will also see many people touting a related professional position as qualification. Many of them got their positions through nepotism and cheating to get paper qualifications (Some are my former clients) and neither have a good understanding of the material nor do they explain things well. Having been devoted to the welfare of children and families and valuing education highly throughout my life, I find tutoring a satisfying occupation. After vounteering my services for many years, I attained formal degrees in education, psychology, and counseling, with very high GPAs. I taught psychology and sociology for several years and have also tutored K-college individually and in groups for many years.
Recognizing that each person has his/her own learning style, I emphasize "application" of material learned. I do this primarily by providing examples of information taught and require my students to do the same.
