Children have different learning styles and every child doesn't learn at the same rate. Teachers must realize this when planning lessons. Students need to know that to have the basics such as a home, a car and food for their family, they need an education. Kids don't think about the future and how their decisions will determine the rest of their lives. I have a fascination with math and numbers. My extensive experience with budgeting and using spreadsheets and formulas has kept me fresh with my math skills.
