When I was in high school I had a lot of anxiety about math. I went back to college late in life and I was terrified that I would have to take a few math courses to graduate. It wasn't long before math was my favorite class and I changed my major. When I was in school I helped a lot of my classmates with calculus. As the graduate of a difficult field of science, I spent a great deal of time studying and developing better methods for studying. I have become very knowledgeable in science and applied science through my degree field. I have also spent much time reading and writing scientific articles, which has made me proficient in English, general literacy, and writing. I find a way to explain a technique based on what the student already knows how to do. If a student does not know how to solve a problem, then I will show the student how I solve the problem, explaining my thinking and results as I go along.
