Every child can learn, so every child deserves to learn.

I have been teaching children younger than myself since I started teaching Sunday school classes and became a adolescent influence in my previous youth group. I new all along I was going to be a teacher. I have been tutoring my younger nephews since they are now in grade level courses. I have also had experience in the classroom as observing mentor teachers and assisting them in lesson plan creations. Looking for help with Engineering, Math or Computer Science?

I am currently a PhD student in Computer and Electrical Engineering at the University of Maryland. I have both my B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University. In addition, I have several years of experience as a teaching assistant at Bucknell. I also have several years of experience with computer science, programming for a government laboratory.
I like to try and figure out how a student goes about understanding different topics. Often times teachers teach right from the textbook, but this can be confusing and students can be left behind because they learn differently.
