Learning is the first step to success, and I am a big advocate on academics. I take pride in teaching and making sure that the student is learning properly. I believe that children learn differently and what makes a good teacher/tutor you have to be able to teach children in the way that they can learn. A Little Bit About Me...

Not everyone learns in the same way. I try to discern how the student I am tutoring learns best, whether it's by just doing examples, or visually by physically relating the material to something easier to understand. After I have found out how best to teach my student, I am able to move forward and help them to the best of my ability. In my tutoring experience, I have always been respectful and curteous to my students. I believe that students are much more likely to confident in their learning if they feel as if they are respected their teacher/tutor. I also make sure to be supportive even when the student is struggling and then compliment them when they make great strides.
