Biology and the life sciences are as interesting to me now as when I was in the fifth grade. My education is in microbiology which I have applied in the agrigricultural industry, diabetes research, and pharmaceutical diagnostics. I have been teaching biology and biotechnology classes for the past seven years in communty college and high school. My best asset as a teacher is finding a way to make the material interesting and relevant to my students.
As a teacher, I strive to motivate students and to encourage their desire to learn so they may ascertain their strengths and abilities.
