As a junior I showed many of my classmates how to excel in several areas of business, such as, finance, accounting, human resources, and management. As a senior I tutored many of my friends and colleagues in many finance courses, such as, portfolio management, financial engineering, and personal finance. I have taught in higher education for the past 22 years. One year was spent teaching at Spokane Community College and for the past 21 years, I have taught at Whitworth University (formerly College). While I enjoy high teaching evaluations, one of my greatest strengths is the one-on-one teaching I am able to achieve through the advising process and the individual students seeking extra help.
