My comments on tutoring Vocals : I have been a vocalist for most of my life. I have been a part of a number of recordings and love to work with individual singers and choirs. As an information technology professional, I have worked with more software and tools than this space would allow me to catalog. As a senior manager and Chief Information Officer, I have worked to gain an understanding of the businesses processes and implemented beneficial solutions. Because of my experience in teaching my own children, I have discovered that no child is too young to learn. Often people will not consider an infant or toddler a "functioning human being" until the child can speak. This is so inaccurate! I taught one of my daughters to read at age four. My teaching style is to engage the student on a personal level through cheerful conversation and sharing of interests, then to assess learning styles, strengths, and challenges. Children perform well when expectations are complimentary to them, and when they are given the tools and nurture to accomplish their dreams.
