One of the most interesting aspects of teaching is how different people process information. Oft times it is difficult to find a teaching style or method that can be equally useful to people of different learning types. I have found that teaching methods common to experiential educators, common practice in such disciplines as SCUBA diving, First Aid/CPR, Martial Arts, Art, etc., can be successfully applied to virtually any academic discipline. My passion is making mathematics accessible. After high school I was underwhelmed by mathematics. However as I took more math in college, I realized how much I had missed in high school.
