Hands on, direct, will not bash you with criticism but will give quite enough to help. I probably quite understand where you are coming from.
Have had several very succcessful classes in biology (anatomy in particular) and english, writing, history. I have with a group successfully dissected a full human cadaver. I have always valued the importance of a quality education and have encouraged friends with no college ambition to start working on their degrees. I am not, however, an elitist. I think every endeavor is a learning experience, but there are basic skills that are necessary to be successful, such as grammar, spelling, and professionalism. My experience in formal teaching is mostly in college-level public speaking and coaching Little League, but I am a proficient and tedious writer.
