Geography is one of my top subjects! I can name all the world's countries and capitols by heart, in addition I can give detailed descriptions about many of their cultures, people, history, background, current situation, and prosperity. This is by far my zenith subject. I have placed in the National Geography bee 3 times. I love Geography more than any other field and I take it seriously. It is my passion, and I hope to achieve my doctorate in Geography eventually. I am well on my way to achieve that goal, and I would more than enjoy teaching it.

Granted, I am still in school myself, however, I pride myself in exceptional achievements, and a mountain of sharable knowledge. I maintain a 4.0 GPA, and I take college classes as well. I lack teaching degrees and I lack diplomas in any field, yet I guarantee that in some fields -- History and Geography -- I know as much as a college graduate as I study, and have studied since a small child, those fields extensively in my spare time. As a business major I learned alot about the importance of language and communication. I took classes in english, and writing. I was a tutor for over 100 students for 2 years in finance and taght a class twice a week on Microsoft Excel. In high school I volunteered at an elementary school to help children with ADD and behavioral issues for 3 trimesters. I was a staff member at Cedar Badge, a week long leadership training course for scouts, teaching leadership skills.
I like to have visuals. They are important no matter what age. i use powerpoint, pictures, think of stories, and try to get the students involved as much as they can. People either learn, by seeng, doing, or both, so it is good to teach using all of the learning tools.

Recently, I graduated with my BS degree in physics. This major requires a working knowledge of advanced mathematics, and its application to real life scenarios. Working in physics frequently requires learning complex concepts, and being able to explain those concepts to peers for feedback. My degree required I write a senior thesis. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been a teacher and tutor for a few years. I taught in a high school English and Music. Right after I graduated High school I was asked to help struggling students and teach a bit when the teacher was gone. Also I have worked in Elementary schools I have taught lessons at least once a week. I have been in teaching methods classes and I have take Education psychology. I have also been able to in three months encourage students to improve grades that are at a 50% low to a 90-100% high.
