I am a dynamic teaher who believes in a hands on, interactive approach to teaching. Lots of give and take, as well as open ended questioning. The importance of learning vs. teaching is a constant in my method. A student asked me once, was my job to pass, or fail everyone. I responded that my job was to educate. I have taught Science (Bio. & Chem.), and Early Childhood Ed. now at three different Colleges, for a total of 5 years combined, as well as having been an Early Childhood Educator for a total of 5 years. I also spent two years teaching wilderness education whilst employed by the United States Forest Service as a Wilderness Ranger.
