Drawing is one of my top subjects! I have a BFA in Drawing and enjoy teaching others to learn to draw in different mediums and hopefully enjoy it!

From a young age, I had the ability to observe things, study things, look at things. Little did I know that would be a fledgling foundation in the visual arts. Constantly drawing from the age of 5, it felt natural to look or think of subject matter and draw my interpretation of it. Fast forward to college and my discovery of the field of graphic design. Upon acceptance and arrival at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, my world completely changed. The school was so top-notch, it opened up an industry and the amazing people who made it happen. I spent one year as a day to day substitute teacher working all over York County in various special education classrooms. My second year was spent as a long term substitute at an alternative high school for boys where I taught all subjects. My third year I started teaching Specialized Preschool and did this for many years until I retired last year. My students had many exceptionalities. I had typical students visit my classroom every week to read to my students. I did leave Lincoln Intermediate Unit #12 one year to teach in Baltimore, Maryland. I taught kindergarten-first grade to children with Autism and speech issues. I have 3 grown children of my own who I helped in school.
I have a very hands on approach because I worked with small children. I believe children learn by doing. If they are interested, you won't have behavior issues.
