Drawing is one of my top subjects! Highly skilled in draftsmenship(photorealism), cartooning and storyboarding.

My artistic background is wide and rich. I am a three time participant in the nationally known and annually held (since 1921) Summer Indian Art Market, where I have sold many of my paintings, and , am a current member of the prestigious Legends Gallery, located in downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico. I have recieved commissions from both private businesses (billboard signs), community centers (murals) and NBC, enlisting me to build several clay masks for the pilot television show, "Reconstruction". I have privately tutored children in drawing and painting as well as taught art classes to children on the Crow reservation in Montana for the Center Pole Community Center. Along with art lessons including clay building, painting, and drawing, I also taught my classes about teamwork, study tips, and coping with reservation life.

My style incorporates exercise kinesiology, developmentally appropriate materials and hands-on learning activities that are meaningful. My style of teaching, especially with tutoring, is to find out what kind of learner my student is: tacit, oral, or verbal. Then the lesson style can be geared to that, while leading the student to become more aware of the other abilities and options. Also, it is imperative that students understand why they are learning what is being presented to them. Cause and effect leads to greater awareness and more objective, analytical, and critical thinking. Creating a reason and success in learning, making it practical and fun can lead any child to want to continue to grow in any area of interest, and tie that back to other skills which my not be so appealing at this point in their life.
