A Little Bit About Me...

My experience in tutoring, substitute teaching, and being an elementary classroom teacher for over one year, my teaching experiences have helped me to instruct students in their learning endeavors. Also, through my love for writing and working on a book along with having an appetite for reading, these additional experiences have also helped me in instructing students in learning. Also I volunteered as a tutor in my local community and developing a summer reading program for our local library.

I began my educational career at Duquesne University where I received my BA in Mathematics. After deciding teaching was my passion, I applied to the Master of Art in Teaching program at Kent State University. During the year program I was exposed to many great opportunities, one of which was teaching a college level Algebra course. This course was a combination of Algebra 1 and 2 concepts.
