If your child struggles in reading or math I am here to help

I have volunteered in a school district for just over 3 years and when I do volunteer I assist children in the classroom who have problems in their reading and math. By assisting these students they have improved on their tests as well as gaining confidence in their learning. I work really well one on one with the child who needs such assistance but also in small groups. If needed to assist a child online it can be done as long as there are materials available for the child that is provided by the school.

I worked in industry with computers the first 20 years of my career in Caracas, Venezuela. I worked the next 27 years in education as faculty at Brigham Young University and upon retirement at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi. At both places I was teaching computer programming and design and at Del Mar Web design and implementaion. I found out that with classroom teaching it is very important that every student knows your expectations and what is wanted.
