I taught 1st Grade Gifted and Talented for 4 years in Baytown, Texas as a self-contained classroom teacher. I was the Team Lead teacher the last two years. All 4 of those years, I also tutored several students in reading. I am also currently pursuing my Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a Literacy Emphasis from The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA).
