Enthusiastic learner and tutor!

With respect to tutoring, I worked during the summer of 2009 as a teachers assistant for a summer-school program known as Korea Poly. The students were 3-6th graders and required assistance in completing homework and practicing and refining their English writing and speaking skills. Economics is second-nature to me. Economics puts calculus into real-world situations. Breezed through it in high school and first couple years of college, realized it would be an excellent thing for me to major in. I took a class on abstract mathematics that followed Moore's teaching method, where the student would show their work in front of the class and instructor everyday for a part of the class. I would not be this strict because it is a little nerve wracking, but I do think some of it's principles are most instructive. This personal accountability along with the interaction I had with other students and the professor was the most I learned in any class. I prefer an interactive environment where I can get to know the students abilities more closely and try to customize it to where I can get the most out of a meeting with a student.
