My master's thesis was on computer-based training. My experience includes teaching end users and other trainers (train the trainer). Classroom training subjects have included using software programs, developing online documentation, writing skills, communications training, policies and so on. Past clients have been Blue Cross Blue Shield, U.S. Navy, Chevron and many more. Further, I have mentored co-workers in the past and enjoy one-on-one coaching very much.

My teaching style is to captivate the student's interest with hands on activities that demonstrate academic concepts. After the student understands the concrete real life connection, then we move into the abstract representation of the same concept in print. Each student has strengths and weaknesses that I try to understand and adapt lessons to their unique method of understanding. I also find it effective to teach students with familiar vocabulary that they already understand and then build new ideas upon their previous knowledge.
