As cliché as this sounds - my favorite part of teaching is the satisfaction of knowing I made a difference. I worked with grade schools at Hancock and Horace Mann Elementary Schools as a volunteer tutor. I taught after-school classes at Battle Creek and Highland Park Junior High.
