My style tends to range based on who I am trying to teach, and I suppose is most accurately labeled as adaptive. I understand that different people learn things in different ways, and so I try to accommodate that with my teaching. For instance if I found that a student learns better visually then I would attempt to use visual cues and examples in lesson plans to make the material as easy to understand as possible. I also believe in keeping a very loose and pleasant atmosphere, and making sure that everyone feels comfortable and safe, which I believe also assists in the learning process.

I am currently a doctoral candidate for my PhD in Organizational Leadership. I am passionate about mathematics and I enjoy teaching it. Various students have different styles of learning and it is only through individual exposure that I am able to find the right learning technique for any give student. Patient and faith in the students, however, are the most determining factors in teaching them.
I recently graduated from Florida International University. I have been working as a tutor in mathematics for various levels, particularly college, since I started my mathematics degree program.
