I first went to study in Germany as an academic exchange student in 1994. Upon completion of my BA from Bellarmine University in '95, I moved to Germany to pursue graduate studies in Sociology and Philosophy. Although I did not end up getting a graduate degree, I studied at the University of Marburg from 1994-1998, lived one year in Strasbourg,studying french, and then studied at the University of Freiburg from 1999-2009. I lived exclusively in the German language for more than 10 years(all writing, reading, listening and speaking). More focused on comprehension and nuances of grammatical expression. Probably not best for someone with 0
German education, but for those who have some foreknowledge but lack practice. Conversational and writing expertise(I used to help Germans write their term-papers in German). So target audience would be intermediate to advanced German language learners.
