I have been involved with education for roughly the past five years, spending 2 as a substitute teacher, 2.5 as a Middle and High School Social Studies teacher and 0.5 as an Adult Education Instructor. I hold a Master's Degree in Social Studies Education from Morehead State University and a Bachelor's Degree in History from Alice Lloyd College. Classes I have taught include United State History, World History, World Geography and Law & Justice. My teaching style varies depending on the students I am teaching. It consists of lecture notes, handouts, exams and quizes and games such as Jeopardy. I believe that all students have the ability to learn and grow as individuals. Most of this time was used managing, mentoring and teaching others in day to day operations and in class room settings. My strong suits are English, business letter writing, Political Science, Economics and basic Accounting. My major at UNC Chapel Hill was Economics within an overall degree of Business Administration. I have taught personnel sensitivity type management courses to all BellSouth HeadQuarters Employees in Atlanta through the years. I am patient but firm.
