I love to work with children of all ages and genders. I have worked with children who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities as well as children of all ages, races, and genders. I attempt to make learning as fun and relevant to the child as possible as every child has varying levels of understanding and concentrations. I am extremely patient and can handle anything. I like to relate learning to childrens' lives (make it about basketball if the boy likes basketball, or about chocolate if the girl likes chocolate).

A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of Northern Illnois, and with currenty enrollment in NC Teach at Western Carolina a commitment to excellence in education would be an understatment. With twenty-one credit hours in education related course from Illinois, I wanted to further perfect my teaching talents by getting a Master's in Teaching through the NC Teach Program.
I teach in a style that relates to the students current conditions. Each lesson is tailored to bring reality, and importance to their lives while not challenging their autonomy. It is critical to get each student to understand the far reaching importance of historical events, and how they still effect today's atmosphere.
