I actually have always taught others, even as a child, my peers came to me to learn new things because of my patience and persistence to help them learn. So, it was easy to study education in college. There my focus shifted to the more difficult children and adults to teach that had learning disabilities. A Little Bit About Me...

Upon graduating with a BA in International Affairs and Spanish in the Spring of 2003, I traveled to India to work in an orphanage and school for orphaned and underpriviledged children. For six months, I taught a wide range of subjects, including Reading, Writing, History, Social Sciences and Math in a small classroom setting (10-30 students). Last summer, I traveled to Guatemala and Mexico to work in an orphanage for abused children, to where I also returned for the past Christmas break. In the orphanage, I tutored children on a one-to-one basis in Math, English, and Reading.
