Versatile Hands-on Tutor for all Age ranges

Throughout my academic career, I have done in-class tutoring in exchange for credit. I have also helped my family members, neighbors, and friends to study, complete homework, and even do reports. Before graduating I participated in an NSF-funded Research Experience for Undergraduates at UC Riverside. During my undergraduate work I was a teacher’s assistant (T.A.) for two years. As a T.A. it was my job to run physics for other undergraduates. This included both the calculus based physics and non-calculus based physics. I also worked with an elementary teacher as part of an outreach program to bring science into the class room. Math has always been an achievement of mine. I went to school and started out for an engineering degree, completing all the math including hard calculus. When I got to the university level I thought a business degree would be better as it is used in all types of businesses. So on top of taking hard calc, I took business calc, accounting, finance, and economics classes which all focus on math.
I have no real teaching style as I have never really taught anyone. I have always helped friends out while we were in school together and I would just have to figure out at what level of knowledge they were having a hard time understanding and start to help them understand what was going on from that point on.
