Help With Regents Math/Science

Hello! Is your child struggling with the math and science Regents exams? If so, perhaps I can be of help. I am just getting back into the tutoring scene after being on hiatus for a few years to develop my professional career. I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2013 (current age: 28) with a degree in Chemical Engineering, and by day, I currently work as an industrial engineer in the Horseheads-Elmira area. While I have taken a full spectrum of math and science courses in the past, I believe my best strength in tutoring is in helping with Regents preparation. My studies during college focused on specifically math where I have completed my bachelor's degree of science with a major in math. A Little Bit About Me...

As I finished up my studies, started tutoring for lower level math majors. This included Calculus I,II,III, and statistics. As I moved on through classes, I began teaching more abstract classes in Mathematical theory. This experience has helped me able to explain a complex topic in simple terms.
I usually spend the first session finding a child's weaknesses in the subject. After this, I will prepare a list of problems for the child to work on under my supervision. As he works I will let him make his mistakes and then help him correct them. This, in my opinion, is the greatest way to learn math. Practice makes perfect.
