I earned a Bachelors degree in English from Western Michigan University in 19997. I taught at the middle school and high school levels. My experience in the classroom has prepared me for other tasks such as tutoring outside the classroom. During my years of teaching I did provide tutoring services for students through the Urban League Organization.
For as long as I can remember, I have loved working with children. I believe that every child is capable of learning when given the necessary tools and encouragement needed. I teach the student to teach themselves. I have had great sucess with my approach in the past, as this is a very self-rewarding experience for the student. I have often found that students soon catch-on and then begin to excell on their own. A Little Bit About Me...

I really enjoy teaching and using a variety of educational methods to reach students. Some students respond much better to one-on-one teaching methods than they do in a larger class environment.
