A Little Bit About Me...

My approach is adapted to the needs of the student. People learn in many different ways. I encourage the student to communicate freely with me. A relaxed and comfortable student will assimilate information readily and I will be able to communicate effectively. My goal is to equip a student with the confidence and ability to approach any subject. The common regurgitation of memorized information has little bearing on the applicable understanding of the subject.
I performed group literacy tutoring and one-on-one math & literacy tutoring for children ages 5-13 at The Learning Center. I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from USF.
