My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : I am heavily involved in psychological research which requires me to comprehend a lot of material and reiterate it back in my own words.

I am currently a senior at Indiana Univeristy Kokomo. I will graduate in spring 2013 with a B.A. in Psychology and minors in Leadership Studies as well as International Studies/Relations. My college coursework has a focus on psychology but my degree requires me to have a very liberal education, as such, I have taken classes in english, history, sciences, economics, government, and many others. I am a student leader and have been for the past two years. I am currently Student Body President of IU Kokomo and represent over 3,000 students. Past leadership expereices include being psychology club treadurer and president, orientation leader, and student senator. Success is Feasible

I teach according to the student's learning style. I acknowledge that all students learn differently, and I excel at catering to visual, aural, and kinesthetic needs of students.

In previous work evaluations my supervisor has described my teaching style as "Experiential". I have a passion to teach with example and hands on practial skills. I created a game in which to teach parents and children how to get rid of their "hang ups". During college, I changed my major several times, taking numerous classes for each one to determine what I wanted to do with my life.
