I am currently a student at Brigham Young University - Idaho where I am pursuing a degree in Biology with minors in Child Studies and Chemistry. This rigorous program has taught me the importance of fulfilling one's potential, the vitality of good study habits, as well as giving me an understanding of children and adolescents. The past two years I have participated in a youth summer program for high school-aged students. I was responsible for giving both formal and informal instruction in leadership skills, self-esteem, and religion. Since last year I have tutored college students in math, specifically in Algebra and Statistics.

Probably my greatest gift that I've been given in this life is my love for people. I believe this love manifests itself through my teaching and makes me a unique educator. Through this discovery style, the students actually learn in ways that will be remembered most. I believe in strict adherence to deadlines and in follow up with students when I give assignments. Study sessions for the ACT will include timed sections and basic review of subject matter. I am kind and intuitive and I will spend the extra time it takes to get your student performing at their best for these tests!
I received high scores on the PSAT and ACT while in high school. I can provide proof of these if necessary. I received a 31 on the ACT (I would need to verify this, but I believe it is correct). I can teach students how to prepare for any test, including the ACT, GMAT, and SAT. I graduated from BYU Idaho in the top 5% of my class.
