I was a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints and taught the gospel. I also had the opportunity while I was on my mission to teach Spanish to adults who were interested from the community. While I was in another area I had the chance of teaching two teenage Mexican girls English. I've been a R.S. and Sunday School teacher for one year and a R.S. President for a year and a half where you teach lessons often. My teaching style is adaptable to the audience I am teaching. I love children and I am very creative and patient while I teach. I have been a teacher and tutor for a few years. I taught in a high school English and Music. Right after I graduated High school I was asked to help struggling students and teach a bit when the teacher was gone. Also I have worked in Elementary schools I have taught lessons at least once a week. I have been in teaching methods classes and I have take Education psychology. I have also been able to in three months encourage students to improve grades that are at a 50% low to a 90-100% high.
I teach from the core of a person they have the inner agency to choose to succeed and they can succeed if they desire to be great they will be great. Also I believe in teaching through the nine learning intelligences as well as the six thinking hats. Also I teach by blooms taxonomy up to synthesis and evaluation. I am up to date and have read many books and taught in these styles.

I understand that every kid is unique and learns in different ways. I believe that in order to be a successful tutor one must possess more than just an adequate understanding of the subject matter. One must also be able to understand the student's situation, have superb communications skills, and a great sense of humor. I recently graduated from the University of Wyoming with a GPA above a 3.0. I have a degree in Biology and a Minor in United State History. While attending college, I helped tutor several different students who were struggling in General Biology and Physics.
