I prefer working one on one with students to help them learn quicker than in group settings. I have taught as a substitute teacher for five years. I have played violin and trombone professionally in performing groups. I spent five years as a violinist with the Folsom Symphony and ten years with the Camellia Symphony Orchestra. I have also studied voice (singing) and have sung solos in numerous venues. I have lived in Germany and Mexico and learned both languages fluently. I believe that kids learn better when they are enjoying themselves and sometimes even having fun! I try to make the things they are learning interesting and entertaining.
