The reason I chose to go to school for my teaching certificate is that I've always been passionate about learning. I think the best teachers are excited to constantly learn new things. As a regular classroom teacher, I felt hampered due to class size. I was never satisfied connecting with just a few students. Every student was important to me. I realized that the only way for me to really reach students was by reducing the teacher-student ratio. As a tutor, I found that teaching smaller groups of students or one-on-one was for me.
