My teaching style with students of all ages is to facilitate their learning as opposed to simply feeding them what I feel is the best response. My experience comes from a variety of places which accounts for my adaptability. I obtained an associates degree in Business Administration and went on to use that to get some experience in the business sector. I earned my Bachelors degree in Studio Arts and went on to get my Masters in Elementary Education. When lecturing in an auditorium to two hundred freshmen, I had to keep to my lecture notes and prepared demonstrations, depending on the students’ initiative to ask the TA’s in the recitation sections about any difficulties. In a smaller class I could engage the students more, still keeping on topic but asking questions of the students and encouraging their questions.
