Experienced teacher ready to help you learn to love learning

I believe in working collaboratively with each other. Basing lessons on things that you love will will help you see the real life connections and importance of education. If we don't get it one way we will approach it another. Never giving up is my teaching style. If the first way we go about a learning objective doesn't work it will be my job to find a new way to teach it.
I have been teaching for 5 years. I have experience in 2nd through 4th grade. I am open to tutoring everywhere from kinder to 5th. I love math and reading. I have a BS from LeTourneau University in Business Management, and have more 48 college hours in Science, English and History. I have been accepted in an Alternative Path to Certification program with A+ Texas Teachers. I have completed the 80 hours training required by Texas and passed the NCLB tests: TExES Science 116 (4 -8), TExES Special Education 161 (EC-12), and the Arizona Biology 07 (9-12). My classroom experience was acquired during 3 1/2 years of teaching science in a high risk high school in Phoenix, AZ.
