Tutoring differs from teaching in that "style" is replaced by method. Some of the methods I have used in the past are rhythm and music, neumonic devices, and of course, drill and practice. I have been told that I am gifted with presenting material in novel ways.

I make a point to have fun with my students, and my teaching style relies heavily upon real world examples that my students can both relate to and enjoy. I stand firmly against simply giving my students answers, but rather employ a strategy of leading my students to discovering their own answers. I love teaching all grades and levels. The most important aspect of teaching is to know your student. Each individual learns in different ways, some are tactile learners, some are visual, and some are auditory learners. Incorporating all aspects into my teaching style assists the retention of the material. It also has to be relatable to the student, so we have to use relevant examples that they understand.
