A Little Bit About Me...

One of the reasons that I'm interested in tutoring is that, although I love working with individual students and small groups, I am less interested in classroom management, discipline and the rest of the duties that come along with substitute teaching. I am excellent at relating to students and absolutely can help those who are willing to learn. I think that the greatest skill for one to learn is to be able to seek information that can be synthesized into the answer that is needed. I use constructive criticism, making statements that demonstrate why an answer or line of thinking is incorrect without implying that the learner is somehow less valuable for having come to an incorrect conclusion.
