As a composer and performer, with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Theory and Composition, I have always sought to teach music from the bottom up. My style is nurturing and thorough, patiently reviewing concepts before continuing on. I use the popular, modern Alfred Method...these books have colorful,delightful illustrations. This includes "Music for Little Mozarts." The upper levels offer lesson, recital, technique, theory and composition books as well as specialty titles (Christmas, etc). I specialize in homeschoolers. To make sure they don't miss the experience of a school program, our recitals may offer singing, dance, costume/drama, recitation, student compositions, etc. in addtion to piano pieces. I have orchestrated countywide interdenominational events so I enjoy doing this on a smaller scale with children. And they love it as do their parents.

I have been teaching children of all ages for over 25 years. My primary expertise has been in music education. I have been employed in public, private and parochial schools throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Not only have I created traditional lessons for children in the classroom, but I have also gained experience as a musician, performing in a variety of ensembles, bands and musical productions.
