Good High school student looking to make money,

I am a high schooler with good grades. I help many of my friends, and even their younger siblings with their school work. because im saving up for a car, i figure it would be smart for me to make a business out of it and make money to put towards my car. my current GPA is 3.8. i am currently enrolled in almost all AP classes, and a technical education class, along with a early child care class where we have a real preschoolers where toddlers go to school there. my current transportation is my mother, who is more than willing to go as long as its not too far.
i usual do hands on activity because personally that's how i learn best. i am able to adapt to the way the chld learns best tho. Also i have experience with special ed children and am willing to work with them.

Once while subbing, I entered a classroom where the students had been allowed to watch Jerry Springer on TV for the last two weeks. I couldn't let this continue, but I saw how emotional the class was about the show. I encouraged them to write their own talk show and told them we would perform it the next day. I find that connecting student's interest with the subject matter to be learned is the best way to teach.
After completing my undergraduate degree in English Literature at Florida State University, I worked as a substitute teacher in Hillsborough County for two years. In 2009, I completed my Master's Degree in Communication at University of South Florida while simultaneously employed at the Department of Special Education. My comments on tutoring Study Skills : Am extremely organized and can assist with time-management skills. I have always participated in sports and learned at an early age how to balance academics with a social life.

I truly believe in experiential learning as much as possible! However, sometimes this isn't always applicable. Computer and other skills available, what I know I share.

I go with the styles that fit the student. I generally use the first couple of visits to assess what works best for the student and then work with the student in a calm and patient yet firm manner. I do not try to force results, every student learns differently and has different aptitudes. Therefore, it wiser not to push the student too hard for results, rather I push myself to find new and inventive ways to help students learn the material.
