I follow the method of G. Polya in his classic work "How to Solve It". By asking the right questions, one can help the student define his problem, form a plan for the solution, carry out the plan, and examine the result. I also try to work as many difficult problems from the student's text as time permits, in order to show that all problems have a solution, and the student can build confidence in attacking any problem. I try to present the material in as many ways as needed, so that I can match the subject to the student's style of learning.

A Little Bit About Me...

I will work with the students and find where out where they are weakest. By doing so I will be able to give them the knowledge required to understand the material they are struggling with instead of teaching them how to solve the problem at that moment which will prevent them from struggling with mathematics their entire school career. I believe that with out understanding what is going on in the background the students will never fully understand what they are doing. As a holder of a Masters degree in Science, I was driven by hardwork to acquire as much knowledge as possible. I also have a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. In completing both, I have acquired strong Science and Math skills. I have learned extensive organizational and writing skills due to completing a research based scientific study and then publishing my report and final conclusions.
