I have tried to apply a balance of patience and diligence to my teaching. I have a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and I am a certified to teach pk-8th grades. I also have a masters degree in Educational Administration and Curriculum Supervision. I am completing my 7th year of teaching. In that time I have taught Kindergarten and 3rd grades in the regular school year. In the summer I have taught all grades k-5th. All people can learn, you just have to find a way to make the student understand the information, if its hands on or reading or a combination of both. Children need the tools and the direction and if you provide them both, the sky is the limit. I want to make a difference in a child's life.
I have been working with the public for over 20 years, in that time I have worked with young adults as well as mature adults. I have also done some substitute teaching in elementary and high school levels. My experience is in food service and have dealt with many walks of life. I use analogies and real world situations that students are familiar with to convey abstract concepts.
