My experience at the community college and public school classroom includes a wide range of diverse teaching experiences from high achieving Japanese to Hispanic low performing students seventh graders I have excelled at teaching all levels of ethnically, academically and physically diverse students. The procedure I follow in tutoring is to first attack is to find out where any understanding difficulty lies. Then, I write the rules out. Next I work 2-3 problems applying the rules as we proceed step by step. Under my tutledge, I have the student work 2-3 problems on their own. My BA was earned at a small, independent, private college in Los Angeles. My major is in English, with a minor in Psychology and Sociology. I have a Master’s degree in Elementary Education, which was completed in 18 months. I have also passed the following educational tests in the state of California: CBEST, CSET (Multiple Subject), and RICA. (Reading Instruction Comprehensive Assessment).
