I'm confident in not just teaching Mandarin but relating the language to American culture and Chinese culture. I am a third year student majoring in Geology at Wheaton College. I believe the best way to improve Mandarin is through speaking it. Therefore, I will stress on the oral portion more. The Achievement Centers, our after school tutorial/diagnostic clinic and before and after school care, is available for all ages and subjects.
