My personal style varies on the pupil. These may vary from simply being frustrated with the curriculum to a myriad of influences. Students learn and retain information quicker with continual repetition; however each student will grasp the information different from another and some will take more repetition than others.
I have been working with special needs students with various disabilities for 10 years. I have worked with students ranging from ADHD/ADD to those who are bed ridded and need toileting assistance. I have also had to accommodate with feeding and those who are transitioning out of high school. Your ability to learn material will be greatly increased by exposure to critical decision making steps as you work problems. I will guide students to these steps as efficiently as possible and wait for a rigorous effort from the student. This will result in either a correct approach or an inappropriate or incorrect approach.
